Kusumkali is WHF’s dedicated child protection initiative aimed at ensuring a safe, nurturing, and abuse-free childhood for children aged 3–10. The project focuses on preventing child sexual abuse through age-appropriate awareness, safety education, and proactive parental involvement.
By equipping children with the knowledge to recognize unsafe situations and empowering parents with effective guidance strategies, Kusumkali plays a vital role in building safer homes, schools, and communities across Bangladesh.
Mental health concerns are steadily increasing across Bangladesh, with individuals facing stigma, misconceptions, limited access to services, and a general lack of awareness about where to seek help. Many adolescents, young adults, and working individuals struggle silently, unable to recognize symptoms or connect with professional support.
Bangladesh’s adolescent and youth population is increasingly exposed to emotional stress, digital risks, academic pressure, financial uncertainty, and unsafe social environments. With limited structured life-skills education in families and schools, young people often struggle to make informed decisions, express themselves, or manage emotional and social challenges effectively.
